After Hurricane Laura skirted us, without any issues and very little rain, the following week brought tons of rain! The lake is back at full pool+. With that much influx of new water, the fish have scattered around a bit. However, we're still catching our share of decent fish. We still find schools suspended at 10ft over 22ft of water as well as some good catches near the shallows in the 8-10ft depth. Tx-rig worms are still getting bit. (Junebug or Blueberry colors are working well).
*NOTE* The water temperature has dropped from 89 degrees to 80 degrees. Hopefully it will continue to drop so the lake will turn over in the coming weeks. This will trigger the AWESOME fall bite.
