9.24.20 FISHING REPORT

Writer's picture: Eric WolfeEric Wolfe

What a difference a couple of weeks can make. The lake has gone from full Summer pattern to the Fall transition in short period of time. Water temps have dropped from 85+deg down to 74 deg. With tropical storm Beta rains, the lake is above full pool and is slightly more stained. However, it is clearing up quickly. We're finding bass on the move. They are starting to follow the shad towards the back of the creeks. This is a good time to throw a buzz bait, early in the morning, and a 3-5ft square bill crank bait during the mid-day. Of course, the Tx-rig worm is ALWAYS a fish catcher!

Better hurry... spots are filling fast!

9.28.24 FISHING REPORT

September is supposed to be "the worst month" for bass fishing. Maybe because of the erratic weather patterns? We definitely had that...
