8.10.21 FISHING REPORT

Yes, its freaking hot. But, so is the bite! For the last 2 weeks, we've been catching some quality 3-5lb bass. Mostly bunched up around the timber, ambushing balls of shad, these aren't your average "schoolies".

If you have a lure that gets in the magic 8-12ft zone, you can get bit. My best bites have been on a Jackall Rerange 110 jerkbait. These others have been getting bit as well: Jackhammer Chatter-bait, Scrounger head Swimbait, and the ever-present underspin.

The amount of shad is unbelievable this year. Match the hatch... throw something shad related.
