6.4.2020 FISHING REPORT

What a great 2 days of fishing with some awesome clients! Mike C & Tony C. fished in some tough conditions (HOT) and came away with what Tony said was "...the best bass fishing trip he's ever been on!" Thanks, Tony! I could not ask for more of a compliment than that. You guys were fun to have on my boat.

I think we lost count on the total number of fish put in the boat, but suffice it to say that there were well over 40 fish boated, with probably 12 or more "quick released" at the boat. and that's with me not fishing AT ALL. This was all Mike and Tony! Great job guys! We caught them on several different lures, but the star of the show was the bladed swim jig, aka: the Chatter bait. A smaller size with a smaller smoke shad trailer, running through 4 - 8ft of water, seemed to be the recipe for success. These Naconiche fish were absolutely choking this rig! What a blast!

Yes it's hot out there, but so is the fishing.
