The lake went from 8 inches below full pool to 3 inches above pool in a matter of 2 days. Bad for fishing, but boy did we need that rain! The water is settling down and the fish are starting to school back up again. As always, they are feeding heavily on the shad.
The two techniques I'm using to catch fish are the Chatter-bait (shad colors) and the Tx-rig mag worm (Junebug or Blueberry)
We should have a good week, upcoming, if the cloud cover and Sahara Sand plume stick around.
