6.17.22 FISHING REPORT

Would somebody turn the heater off!? And, while you're at it, please turn the rain spigot on! The lake is down about 1.5 ft and the surface temperature is 90.0deg. We haven't seen rain in 3 weeks. With that said, the fishing has been pretty good of late. Here's my typical pattern:

Early morning topwater, underspin, jerkbait and A-rig over deep water creek channels. Once that bite turns off, I'll hit the 8-12ft areas around the back roadbeds and isolated timber with Junebug Mag-worms. Zoom or Keitec. Go inside from 11am to 6pm 'cause its too damn hot!! Go back to the worm areas until 7:30pm. Finish off right back where we started that morning. (Throwing a square bill every now and then)

That's been a typical day on the water for me. This will probably be the way I do it until early Fall.

Going to try some crankbaits in the worm areas to see if that will get bit.

Come Attack the Nac!

This pic was from a good worm bite. Broke off the 5th and biggest fish at the boat. DOH!
