Hard to get much fishing in when it WONT STOP RAINING! With more rain coming, we got fortunate to get a few hours on the water. The post-spawn bite has been pretty good, but not great. Topwater has been getting the majority of fish in the early morning. The Spook one-knocker and, even better, the 6th Sense Catwalk are great for walking the dog... and the bass explode on this lure! Fun.
FYI, I'm just now starting to see the thermocline begin to form at about 16ft. More on this in the next report.
Here is a pic of our new friends, Paul and Kevin with 2 HUGE crappie. Yep, we grow'em big here on Lake Naconiche.
