3.25.22 FISHING REPORT

As I look out across a chocolate milk lake that's 2ft higher than normal... Wild-n-Crazy weather was the story for March. From freezing temps to 80+deg. From beautiful Spring days to storms with F2 tornadoes that missed us by just a few miles. Welcome to Texas! We did manage to catch some decent bass between dodging that weather. We had a pre-spawn that produced some 5-6 lb'ers... and my buddy caught a 12lb fatty right in front of my house!! Way to go M. H.! Some buck bass started making beds about the 15th of March, while the water temp was still around 58deg. Hmmm. Looks like a typical "Trickle Spawn" is on for the month of April. You know the drill: Mag Lizards, Craws, and Creatures with little to no weight added. What you DO add is patience. Keep in mind that, on 'Naconiche, they like to bed in deeper water than most lakes. Yes, you'll see beds in the shallows, but make some casts in 6-8ft of water too. BAM! I'm booked for most of April, so call now for some good May post-spawn fishing! Come Attack the Nac!
