2.28.2022 FISHING REPORT

February's headline: Crazy Cold Wild Weather The February bite was off and on. Mostly off. It wasn't until the last week or so when the bass started doing their "normal" schooling. We were fortunate to have one of our Missouri clients catch his personal best bass, at over 6lbs. In addition, our local friend caught one over 12lbs, right on our roadbed. Otherwise it's just been abnormal. The Alabama rig was the star of the show for February. However, the lil' underspin did catch those big bass mentioned above. If we can get some slightly more consistent weather, we're hoping for a better first few weeks of March. The pre-spawn bite is at hand. Let's catch'em before they head to their spawning beds!
