Yep! I forgot to post a December report, so I'm backdating this by a couple days.

To say that December was tough fishing would be an understatement. It's like the fish grew legs and walked out. (Actually, I just found some nice fish on Jan 1st and 2nd! But I'll save that for January's report)

The entire year of '22 was just off. It never was like the years prior. We never got on a steady bite. Good 1 day, then a bad 2 weeks, etc... I chalk it up to WEIRD weather patterns and the lack of shad. I still think we haven't recovered from the "Snow-magedeon" event.

With all that said, there were still a few double digit fish caught on the lake. Unfortunately, my rod never got bent by anything over 6lbs this year. I have a feeling that this bad streak is about to end. The fish I'm catching right now are getting bigger and better. So watch out for a good report to come.
