12.27.23 FISHING REPORT

The month of December has been mostly positive for the bass bite. We're seeing a welcomed recovery of the shad population that has the bass in a more predictable winter pattern. A typical session includes the A-rig, deep-diving cranks, the underspin and a jerkbait. So far, the A-rig has landed the most and the biggest of the month. (See pic below)

The downside has been the boat. I've been having some trouble with some key items. The motor trim cylinder has died and that has my boat on the trailer. My electronics have given me some trouble as well. I guess that's just how it goes with a B.O.A.T. yeah, Bust Out Another Thousand. Not all is bad news. The upgrade to Ionic Blue lithium batteries has been a HUGE success. Love these batteries!

This was, no doubt, the best fish of the month...
