The month of October is a blessing and a "curse" all in one. The blessing is that the temperature finally dropped and the rains filled the lake back to full pool. The curse is that the Fall turnover makes for some tough conditions. Despite not fishing for 2+ weeks due to boat repairs and other factors, we still found some nice fish. For the most part, the 2.5 Cornerstone square-bill crankbait did the most damage. This lure simply catches fish. Plus, it can be thrown just about anywhere without getting stuck... too bad.
The falling water temp will bring about one of my favorite times to fish. Jerkbaits, A-rigs, and deep diving crankbaits. <-- Fun.
November is fully booked, but December has a few dates still open. BTW, January and February can be the best fishing of the year for the big bite! Jus' sayin'.
Come Attack the Nac!
