10.1.2020 FISHING REPORT

Enjoyed 3 sessions with a regular client, Mike C. We boated 38 fish with 22 of those in one morning session. Thx Mike! See you in 2 weeks!

The lake is in Fall transition mode. This lends itself to several lure patterns. I'm throwing a shad imitation, fished just above the thermocline (approximately 12-14ft) as well as suspending jerkbaits. (I like a Jackall Rerange 110 or Megabass Vision 110) When the bite slows during the mid-day warm-up, a Tx-rig worm or Square bill crank bait can get bit.

No matter what you throw, even if you're not killing the bass, you'll definitely enjoy this amazing weather!

p.s. The leaves are just starting to turn colors... it beautiful out here!
