Dang it! Forgot to post the January report! Getting old aint for weenies! "Ok, Google... set a reminder" đ
January had a few good days sprinkled in amongst many tough days. Again, it's mostly due to the wild weather patterns. The fish just don't know what to do. So, they hide!
The R2S Ish Monroe Big-E Poppa square bill crank was the star this month. Probably accounted for 70% of the quality fish caught. I fully expected the jerkbait bite, but it just never happened. (Hopefully February!)
We've started to see healthier fish towards the end of January. Pretty typical, as they start to feed up for the pre-spawn.
Let's hope the coming month or three gets a little more stable, weather wize. I'm ready to get "back to normal"... whatever that means! đ
