Wish I could tell you that Jan '24 was a boon, but the vast majority of it was a bust. First, the bust: The ice and below freezing temps took out a big chunk of the middle month. Followed closely by a deluge of rain that flooded the lake for the last week and a half.
The boon: I took advantage of this by getting the boat in the shop for annual maintenance and some NICE upgrades to the electronics. You'll have to come fish to see these! Think you'll like'em. Lastly, we had our favorite Father/Son clients out in early Jan and had a decent haul of fish, including this nice 5.7lb'er for Henry (pic)
Once we dry out, the pre-spawn should be another boon... HOPEFULLY!
