05.07.20 FISHING REPORT

The month of May can be a GREAT time to fish Lake Naconiche! The post-spawn bite is on and the shad are moving up to spawn as well. This sets up for a dozen different ways to catch a lot of fish. Frogs across the shallow grass, square bill cranks across the wind blown points, underpins over deep water, and there's always a TX-rig worm bite. You can chunk just about anything and get bit. These fish were 6, of over 20, caught on this day...AFTER we released the ones over 16 inches. Thanks Herb & Bob! You guys were awesome!
