Here's What You Need to Know
FAQ
WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
I suggest bringing the following items:
-
2 or 3 rods and reels per person spooled with fresh 12-15lb test line (I use 12lb Seaguar fluorocarbon for most of my rigs. 15lb for TX-rigs & 30lb braid for top-water and jig lures)
-
I can provide rod/reel combos, with either Baitcast or Spinning, upon request.
-
Appropriate seasonal clothing, including Rain suit - Polarized sunglasses - Fishing cap with dark under brim (cuts down glare of water)
-
Sun screen. 'Cause skin cancer sucks!
-
Camera (I will take pictures of your trip and make them available to you on our facebook, instagram** and/or via email and text)
-
Lunch, snacks, and drinks in a small soft-pack cooler is preferred. I will have a cooler with ice packs and drinking water. Full day trips have the option of coming in for lunch and/or a nice nap before heading back out on the water. (This is a preferred option in the heat of the summer months!)
-
Texas Resident Freshwater Fishing License (Annual – $30, One Day – $11) or Non-resident Freshwater Fishing License (Annual – $58, One Day- $16). For license by mail call Texas Parks & Wildlife 1-800-895-4248
